In another life, I was a sports writer, and I stood face to face with the likes of LeBron James, Randy Johnson, Tom Glavine, etc. But, to "keep it real," I once played pick-up basketball with Keith Tower, who played at Notre Dame in the late 80s and early 90s and went on to a modest NBA career.
